What is this group?
Queer4Shore! Rainbow Youth's newest group is especially for those who live on the North Shore. Relax and chill out with others in a cafe environment. This group will run between 3.30pm till 5pm on every 2nd Friday (alternate to GQ).
We aim to provide supportive, social contact outside of a night club environment. For under 27 year olds who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, takataapui or fa'afafine (non-heterosexual).
Where?
Your safety is our priority, therefore the location is only disclosed in confidence to interested people.

Who goes to it?
Anyone under the age of 27.. Many are questioning their sexuality or gender identity, or have just recently 'come out' and others might be new to Auckland and are looking to make more friends.
There are also facilitators who run the group. You can talk to them in private if you need to. They will let you know about upcoming events and other Rainbow Youth activities.
We often hold events other than our regular cafe meetings, like movie nights, shows, bowling, dinners, pool, karaoke, laser strike and picnics.
When do we meet?
As this is a new group being launched, a venue has yet to be confirmed. Send us an email if you know some great locations!
Facilitators
We're currently looking for people to train to be new facilitators to help run the group. Being a facilitator is a great way to volunteer your time for Rainbow Youth.
